Three-Roll Grinder

It is the most effective grinding and dispersing equipment for high-viscosity materials. It is mainly used for grinding various liquid pastes and paste-like materials such as paint, ink, pigment, plastic, cosmetics, soap, ceramics, and rubber.

Description

There are three rollers mounted on an iron frame, aligned in a straight line. It can be installed horizontally or with a slight tilt. The grinding effect is achieved by the mutual squeezing and friction of the surfaces of the three horizontal rollers at different speeds. The steel rollers can be hollow for water cooling. The material is introduced between the middle roller and the rear roller. Due to the different rotation directions of the three rollers (increasing speed sequentially from back to front), effective grinding is achieved. After grinding, the material is scraped off by a scraper located in front of the front roller.
Typically, the rollers of the three-roll grinder are made of cold-hard alloy cast iron through centrifugal casting, with a surface hardness of HS70° or higher. The roller diameter is finely ground with high precision, ensuring the material’s grinding fineness reaches around 15μm, thus producing uniformly fine and high-quality products.
