Requirements:
Boxes should be made of non-combustible materials.
For production areas and offices with low risk of electric shock, open-type distribution boards can be installed.
For high-risk electric shock or poor working environment in processing workshops, foundries, forges, heat treatment, boiler rooms, carpentry shops, etc., closed cabinets should be installed.
In workplaces with conductive dust or the production of flammable and explosive gases, electrical facilities must be installed in sealed or explosion-proof enclosures.
The electrical components, instruments, switches, and circuits of distribution boxes should be arranged neatly, installed securely, and easy to operate. Cabinets should be free from dust, water accumulation, and debris.
Cabinets installed on the floor should have a bottom surface 50-100mm above the ground; the center height of the operating handle is generally 1.2 to 1.5m; there should be no obstacles within 0.8 to 1.2m in front of the cabinet.
