Cement packaging is an important part of the cement production process, mainly achieved through cement packaging machines. Among these, rotary cement packaging machines, as the current mainstream equipment for cement packaging, are widely used in many cement production enterprises. Rotary cement packaging machines typically have multiple spouts evenly distributed. When valve bags are placed on these spouts, the automatic filling of powdered cement is achieved through the coordinated operation of sensors, solenoid valves, weighing instruments, and other related devices. However, the corresponding automatic bagging technology has not kept pace with these advancements. Most cement companies still rely on manual bagging methods, which are inefficient and significantly impact production capacity. Moreover, manual bagging is tedious, repetitive, and performed in a dusty environment, which over time can seriously harm the physical and mental health of workers.
Jill Group has developed an automatic bagging device control system that addresses these challenges. Based on the operational characteristics of this device, the control system is designed with a hierarchical structure: the field control layer uses PLC as its core, along with actuators and sensors to collect equipment status and bag mouth position information. After internal program processing and computation, corresponding control commands are outputted to drive the actions of relevant mechanisms. The monitoring management layer allows remote monitoring of the bagging device’s operation status, real-time display of alarm information, and statistical tracking of bagging quantities through a graphical interface on a touchscreen. Operators can also perform online debugging, operation, and maintenance of the equipment through the HMI. The application of Jill’s control system significantly enhances the automation level of cement packaging operations, reducing reliance on manual bagging and meeting the efficiency, environmental protection, and intelligent production management requirements of modern manufacturing industries.
